Brought to Vermont by early settlers and named the state flower in 1894, red clover has long symbolized the region’s rural spirit. Its rosy blossoms reflect deep agricultural roots; quietly restoring the soil, feeding pollinators, and nourishing those who graze the land. Humble yet hardworking, red clover has earned its place in the fields and hearts of Vermonters for generations.
