Step inside our

Workshop

From the Vermont hills, our workshop is shaped by the character of New England and devoted to the art of making and sharing what we love most. Our goods are born from this landscape and crafted in harmony with people and planet.

Saltbox & Company

We believe a good life begins at home, in the company we keep and in the ordinary: a linen towel softened with age, a table set for friends, or the scent of rosemary rising from the kitchen.

Guided by this belief, Saltbox & Company is a conversation between past and present; where heritage techniques meet modern sensibilities. We cherish the simplicity of natural materials and the pace of tradition, guided by a simple philosophy: to stir the senses and serve a purpose.

Our workshop is a space for unhurried days, where small pleasures are noticed, savored, and made worthy of celebration.

Our Process

At Saltbox & Company, everything begins by hand. We work slowly, in small batches, allowing materials to breathe and take form without shortcuts or mass production.

Stationery is pressed one sheet at a time, soaps are blended and bottled in-house using natural ingredients, and ceramics are carefully shaped, glazed, and fired by hand.

For us, the design process is guided more by feeling than formula, allowing space for creativity and the nuances that make each piece unique.

Our Impact

We are careful to minimize waste, repurpose materials, and honor the full lifecycle from raw earth to finished form.

Our materials come from responsibly managed sources where biodiversity thrives and communities are respected. No endangered wood, no deforestation, no violations of human rights, and nothing that threatens ancient trees, sacred land, or the people who steward them.

Our commitment is simple but unwavering; protect wild places, honor indigenous consent, and source with integrity.

From the highlands

In the Green Mountains of Vermont from our old farmhouse, we’re slowly restoring things; peeling back layers and shaping a home that’s both sanctuary and playground. We’ve always been drawn to backyards more than boardrooms, believing the best work happens with your hands and around good people.

In good company

Whether celebrating around a shared meal, shaping spaces that bring people together, or rolling up our sleeves to make something from scratch, we are continuously inspired by what's around us. Our work is an extension of how we live; crafted in harmony with neighbors and nature.

Thank you for being a part of it.
